Description: At the Lazy H we offer a variety of rides including overnight adventures. We`ll do things at your pace whether you`re a complete beginner or a more experienced rider. If you want a gentle ride then that`s what we`ll do. If you`re looking for something more challenging then we can do that to.

1.5 hour rides allow time to get to know your horse, have an enjoyable ride at a relaxed pace and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee afterwards.

Our overnight adventures take us out into the high country above Waiouru, to a rustic lodge with spectacular views. You can either take the leisurely route to the lodge or you may decide to put a few more hours in the saddle and see a little more of the country. It`s up to you. Once at the lodge, you`ll be able to sit back and enjoy fabulous home cooked cuisine, while you take in the splendor and quiet. Native birds and horses grazing are about the loudest sounds you`ll hear.
Exclusive lodge bookings are available. Let us know if it`s a special occasion and we`ll do our best to cater to your needs.

Our horses are well trained and experienced. We ride in Western saddles.

Description: We provide 1 & 2 hour treks, 7 days a week. Treks venture through the Wairakei Forest with awesome views of the geothermal area known as the "Craters of the Moon". All treks are guided & are suitable for all levels of experience, young & old. We provide 4 treks per day in spring/summer & 3 treks per day autumn/winter.

Prices: $60/person for a 1 hour trek, $120/person for a 2 hour trek, $30 pp for a 20-30 minute pony ride.
