Ride beside the Pacific Ocean and over rolling green farmland with unsurpassed views of the coastal Bay of Plenty and beyond. Feel the wind on your face and hear seashells crunching under hoof.

Safe and professional treks are our specialty. Our beautiful, happy, healthy horses are crossbred and chosen for their calm, reliable temperaments.

Each ride is briefed with safety and `how to` procedures and new riders are given a free 5-minute lesson to ensure you know how to whoa and go.

Prior booking is essential. Treks range from 1.5 hours to 2.5 hours and cater for all abilities. A 3-hour trek and an overnight trek are available for experienced riders. Non-riders can walk along the gorgeous Newdicks Beach and meet with their companions... perhaps take the perfect holiday snapshot.

Ride through the mystic & tranquil beauty of Te Urewera National Park, the homeland of Tuhoe - children of the mist. Journey along and through the Whakatane River, flanked on both sides by native bush, the natural habitat of NZ birds such as Kiwi, Tui, Koko, Kereru and Kokako.
